At this international conference,we will discuss the vision of Asian smart cities of the post-COVID world.
In many Asian regions where the demographic dividend has been disappearing, the promoting of top-down urban development is becoming obsolete. Rather, we think that making a metropolitan area that has accumulated history smarter from the bottom up by utilizing Digital Transformation Technologies. At this conference, based on open democratic communication, we will discuss the idea, way of thinking, technology, and methodologies from various angles to realize “Asian smart cities” that includes various people with different cultures, religions, values, etc.

The subjects of the paper are not limited to the above, however, it is requested to stay relevant to the contexts of inclusive smart cities.
■PARTICIPANTS: This conference is open for participants from universities, research institutions, government institutions, practitioners, developer and for people who are concerned about smart cities and urban-rural development. The papers are also expected coming from various countries.
▶▶ FOR PARTICIPANTS: The conference is operated on on-line base. The participation is, in principle, free.
The papers submitted to the secretariat by the deadline will be published on the on-line proceedings. The author(s) of the respective papers are kindly expected to cover the editing cost. This workshop will be followed subsequently by two workshops in 2022. The secretariat will select distinguished papers from the proceedings of three workshops and publish a book on “inclusive smart cities in the post Covid-19 arena” from a well-known international publishing house.
